1. Lighting: Bonsai trees are needed to be kept in the outside environment. Only tropical bonsai trees can be kept inside, if you are not residing in the tropical areas. The bonsai trees which are kept outside can get six or more hours of direct sunlight, a day.

Soil drying procedure depends upon the type of the soil used and size and shape of the pot.
